Pam has successfully transferred her expertise to make a difference in her local community by spearheading several philanthropic efforts. She was instrumental in creating the very first Golden Gala for the Candlelighter's organization which to date has raised over 1.3 million dollars to help children with cancer and their families. In addition, Pam has continued her project management skills by being involved with numerous golfing charity events including Links for Life and the National Kidney Foundation. Another annual commitment that Pam takes great pride in coordinating and managing, is the Operation Rebound fund raising portion of the Nevada Silverman Iron Distance Race. This event raises funds for permanently disabled veterans returning home from the recent conflicts in Afgahnistan and Iraq. Pam exemplifies "Giving Back" with a strong spirit and passionate heart, and hopes to be an example to others in these efforts.
Pam’s foundation in education provides expert training with excellent classroom experiences. She is a CELL certified teacher with formal training and certification of over 80 hours in California Early Literacy Learning, a program focused on continual assessment, differentiated curriculum and literacy advancement. In addition to having earned her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, CLAD certificate, Pam effectively guides her knowledge to enhance the progress of the students that she works with.
Pam has a passion for education and for motivating students to not only set goals, but also to problem-solve and develop plans to meet those goals. As a leader in the district, Pam’s role as a site administrator allowed her to oversee curriculum development for the Sacramento START program making a significant difference in students’ lives.
Pam has studied at San Jose State University, University of La Verne and National University. She holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in Industrial Technology and minor in Art and holds a Master of Education, with an emphasis in Reading and Language Arts, with a Reading Specialist Credential. Pam also has earned her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, CLAD Certificate. |
