Allison is the School Director of our online private school.  Prior to launching her vision in providing access to all students using the technology and highest caliber of curriculum, Allison served in the education sector for the past 10 years. Her expertise and most of her professional experiences have been teaching elementary and middle school students.

In addition to being a dedicated teacher, Allison has extensive experience with developing and implementing curriculum. To compliment this experience, she takes pride in assisting students with her reading specialist strategies. As a Director, she will be hands-on, as a leader that continues to inspire students and faculty alike as both the School Director and one of the Reading Specialists. Allison oversees our staff and maintains ongoing relationships with parents, students, and teachers, to ensure top quality service to our students’ families.

As a Reading Specialist with Advantages, Allison provides expert training with her professional experiences. She is a CELL certified teacher with formal training and certification of over 80 hours in California Early Literacy Learning, a program focused on continual assessment, differentiated curriculum and literacy advancement. In addition to having earned her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, CLAD certificate, Allison effectively guides her knowledge to enhance the progress of the students that she works with.

With more than ten years of teaching experience in the school system, Allison has taught elementary and middle school, and has most recently transitioned into the university setting. As an associate faculty, Allison has been instrumental in writing online curriculum and serving as the state field placement specialist for the university.

Allison has also spent a semester in Mexico where she attended Instituto Cultural de Oaxaca and studied Spanish in an intensive immersion program. She exemplifies the importance of running with a purpose and being passionate about seeing your goals become a reality.

Allison has studied at California State University, Chico, University of La Verne, National University, and is currently enrolled at Northcentral University. She holds an undergraduate degree in Organizational Communication with a minor in Human Resources, a Master’s of Education, with an emphasis in Reading and Language Arts, and a Reading Specialist Credential. Allison also has earned her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, CLAD Certificate, and is currently a Ph.D candidate in an Educational Leadership program.
